The objective was to unify a sprawling university campus with diverse architectural styles through cohesive exterior design. We developed a master plan focusing on pedestrian flow, natural gathering spaces, and sustainable materials. The solution involved installing miles of permeable pavers, creating multiple shaded plazas with integrated seating, and establishing a native-species planting scheme that requires minimal irrigation. This not only improved campus walkability and student engagement but also managed over 80% of stormwater runoff naturally, transforming the campus into a more navigable, beautiful, and ecologically responsible environment.
