We partnered with a community development group to transform a neglected industrial warehouse into a vibrant, multi-purpose Urban Revitalization Center. The primary challenge was balancing historical preservation—retaining the original steel structure and brickwork—with modern energy efficiency and accessibility standards. Our design focused on creating flexible, naturally lit interior spaces using an open-plan concept and strategically placed skylights. This project successfully created a dynamic hub for local businesses and arts programs, increasing foot traffic in the neighborhood by 40% in the first six months and setting a new benchmark for sustainable adaptive reuse.
