This project involved designing a custom, high-end residential property situated on a challenging, erosion-prone coastal cliff. The client required a home that was completely Net-Zero Energy while maximizing panoramic ocean views. Our solution integrated the structure into the landscape using terraced levels and employed advanced passive house principles. We utilized structural insulated panels (SIPs), a rainwater harvesting system, and a hidden ground-source heat pump. The result is a highly resilient, hurricane-rated home that produces more energy than it consumes, all while achieving a seamless, modern aesthetic that feels inherently connected to the dramatic coastline.
