Maineville Residence

This project involved designing a state-of-the-art Vertical Farm and Integrated Research Laboratory within a densely populated urban area. The core challenge was creating a highly controlled, sterile growing environment that was also visually transparent to engage the public and meet stringent health regulations. Our architectural solution utilized a modular, glass-cased structure with automated internal climate controls. We engineered the entire façade with high-transparency, UV-filtering glass to maximize natural light for the facility while minimizing solar heat gain. This design not only established a sustainable local food source but also served as a transparent educational exhibit on future agricultural technologies.
